The trailor for ChefVille...very promising to say the least...in the end we got a worthy replacement for Restaurant City

The King (RC) is dead...long live the King (ChefVille)

Coming Soon: Zynga’s ChefVille

With the continuous success of FarmVille, CityVille and CastleVille, Zynga is soon to release ChefVille which has loads of similarities to the popular Playfish cooking game, Restaurant City.
Since the day Playfish has announced that Restaurant City’s kitchen was going to be closed down for good on 29 June the loyal RC gamers and fans, as expected, are upset about the decision… but wait… not anymore!
It’s Zynga to the rescue as ChefVille will certainly bring back joy to food lovers, chefs and chef wannabes!

Cook like a Pro...open your own 4-Star Restaurant

ChefVille uses food to bring friends and family together through play.

Players create a kitchen that would rival a 4-star chef’s allowing players unique, tasty dishes, ranging from pizza and steak Florentine to orange chicken.
As players master a new dish, they’re emailed the recipe so they can recreate the dish at home in a true “Game to Table” play experience.

The end of Cafè World is around the corner

It certainly looks that way. Amid the flurry of Facebook games announced recently during Zynga Unleashed, Zynga revealed that there's a new (and admittedly improved) cooking game in town: ChefVille.
In this upcoming social game, players get to create their dream kitchen and serve various worldly dishes to their friends as guests and offer them special VIP services.
Based on what Zynga had to show today during its press event, ChefVille looks how a modern Facebook game should, with smooth animations, flashy graphics and a slick user interface. Players can even receive real-life recipes for the game's numerous dishes when they master them in-game--either on Facebook or Zynga.com--via email.

Wait, but what about Cafe World, the developer's current cooking game with 720,000 daily players? Considering how painfully similar this game looks to its predecessor, albeit far prettier, it wouldn't be surprising to see ChefVille eclipse Cafe World entirely...intentionally or not. No launch date has been announced for ChefVille yet, so Cafe World lives to play another day ... for now.

Create your recipes at home

ChefVille, a game that has players create and run their dream restaurant, is yet another Ville game coming from Zynga, the company said today.

In ChefVille, players will create their own restaurant and build their dream kitchen. The game will have players do everything from design the ideal kitchen to finding ingredients, to gathering friends and sharing recipes. Once the restaurant is up and running, players will have to earn reviews.

The game will feature an eclectic mix of cuisines, each unlocked by building specific cooking stations. So, for instance, if you want to have a restaurant that serves Japanese food, you need a sushi station. You gain access to Chinese recipes by building a Wok Station.
The game's "secret sauce" will be its use of social interaction, Zynga officials said. The game will let you visit friend's restaurants to borrow ingredients and sample dishes.

During the presentation, Zynga showed the gathered press a bustling pizza restaurant, complete with in-game pizza crafting and cute animations.

Once you master levels in the game, Zynga will email you real recipes as a reward.

ChefVille announced at E3

Zynga revealed ChefVille, a new restaurant sim that “uses food to bring friends and family together.” Players will be able to create their own kitchen and build a restaurant by combining multiple ingredients to create new dishes.
Each recipe a player creates will be emailed to them, allowing them to try the dish in real life for what Zynga calls a “Game to Table experience.” ChefVille will come to Facebook in addition to Zynga.com.
